Cairns Primary School App Launch

We had a good turnout for our Parent Council AGM on a wet, miserable evening!  Parents and carers came along to hear from the Senior Leadership Team on progress made during last session and plans for the year ahead.  We also launched our Cairns Primary School app!

Parents who attended the meeting were welcomed by members of the Parent Council and the Senior Leadership Team.  They heard a report from the treasurer on monies spent in the last session and plans for fundraising and spending in the current session.  Ms Gillan then reported to the meeting on progress and attainment data across the school and Mr Hughes then explained a number of changes to the Literacy resources.  After the presentation from the Senior Leadership Team, parents and carers were taken through the new Cairns Primary School app.  The login details were shared and a quick run-through of the menu tabs followed.
