House Captain & Vice Captain Elections

Boys and girls from Primary 6 and 7 classes had been working hard on their speeches, posters and election campaigns. They were all hoping to be elected as House Captain or Vice Captain of the Cairns Primary School houses; Bruce, Burns, Wallace and Livingstone!

The children were given the opportunity at assembly to explain why they should be chosen as House Captain or Vice Captain. They spoke about their personal qualities and the things they would champion if they were lucky enough to be elected. Everyone spoke very well and demonstrated that they were confident individuals by speaking in front of the whole school.

Children from the classes listened carefully to the speeches and went back to their classes to vote for the people they wanted to lead their house to victory this year!
