Primary 1 Induction
Our first induction session for our new Primary 1 pupils took place on Wednesday 15th May.
Boys and girls due to start Primary 1 in Cairns Primary in August 2019 came along for a visit with their parents. The children got to meet next year's Primary 7 buddies and also had the chance to explore the Primary 1 classrooms. The teachers had activities planned and were very impressed with the children's behaviour and manners as they got to know their new school! Parents were met in the gym hall by Mr Hughes, our Infant Department DHT, who spoke about the daily routine for our new pupils. Frequently asked questions were also addressed during the presentation.
